Tadpole (Fanfiction; X-Men, Forge/Toad angsty drabbles)

A commission for my dear DeathStar510. Two drabbles, one fluffy, one angsty, and I kind of almost made myself cry with the second one. Haaa, I am such a dork.

Tried something a little different - the first fic is made of essentially nothing but dialogue, and the second has pretty much zero. I kind of like how both of them came out, actually. Diff'rent strokes, man.

Titles: Pretty Powers; Tadpole
Pairing: Forge/Toad. How I love 'em.
Rating: PG for one four-letter word. My Mort tends to swear like a truck driver when he feels comfortable.
Word Count: 1352 total
Warnings: Don't ever read or write Age of Apocalypse Fortimer if you feel like having a happy day afterwards. Or at least not without a box full of kittens close at hand.

And Forge watched the metamorphosis, quiet and still and so proud he could barely stand it...Collapse )

Writer's Block: Good morning, star shine

On spaceflights, astronauts are awakened by songs of their choosing. What song would you pick?

I woke up with Good  Morning, Starshine in my head and told my mom - she calls the first song you wake up with in your head your "Soul Song,"  because it's what your soul/subconscious is trying to tell you. So this morning I said 'MY  SOUL  SONG  IS  'GOOD  MORNING  STARSHINE! ' :D"

And then saw this.

Guinea Pigs (Fic: Betrayal in Antara)

LOL  nobody will know what  I'm talking about here. xD  I  tend to only fall really hard for totally obscure characters from things nobody has ever heard of - and these guys are like. From my Original Fandom. Maybe even from before Gargoyles, or  Star Trek. "Betrayal in Antara"  is an old Sierra RPG for the PC, and among the most underappreciated and unloved worlds/concepts/characters I  know of. :C

Aren, William and Kaelyn have been so special to me for so many years... I know it sounds silly, but.  They matter. A lot.

And I happen to write them as an OT3. xD  Partially because the ho-yay between William and Aren is ridiculous, and also because Kaelyn is too awesome to leave out in the cold all by herself. Aaahaha.

So. Here you go.

Title: Guinea Pigs
Universe: "Ramar" - Betrayal in Antara
Pairing: ...  THREE-ing. xD  William/Aren/Kaelyn... She's just helping them figure it out.
Rating: PG. The only intimacy and/or naughtiness is just hinted at.
Summary: When threats don't work, you go with bribery. Involves chocolate, cluelessness, magic, terrible Waving Carrot for  Emphasis jokes, and fluff.
Warnings: Unless you have a seething aversion to mutual polyamorous relationships, there's nothing you should be worried about, you big babies. <3

"The way I see it, you got two tactics here: threats, or bribery. I assume you already tried threat - said you'd turn him into a frog? Or better, a cute fluffy bunny rabbit?"Collapse )

I wonder if someone is trying to tell me something? I've come across your name so many times the past few days. I never believed in coincidences, but even now the fear is something that's so hard to get over. I don't know what I really want anymore.

I think I do. I think I want to shine.

But then I get scared. What if I get the part? What if I hear yes? I don't know what about it scares me. It makes no sense. Why am I afraid of what I crave? There's something I was born for, there's something I'm supposed to be, but I'm not there yet.

And I think THAT scares me.

I want a friend on the other side.

I need someone to tell me that I'm not alone.

I need there to be something more than what I see. Is there truth in my illusion, and illusion in my truth?

I'll follow the white rabbit as far as she wants to go. First I just need to catch a GLIMPSE.

I just slashed Schindler's List.

If you want to take it that way. It's intentionally left ambiguous.

... Even so, I think I'm somehow going to fanfiction Hell for this. xD

Length: Under 500 words
Rating: G - interpretable as completely tame slash or just very deep friendship.
Notes: First person introspective, from Stern's POV. Takes place after the events of the film.

Things from my head

These are ramblings from my creative writing journal. I recently tore out a page of it to make very special wrapping paper for a friend, so I typed up what was on the pages so I  wouldn't lose it. Then figured someone might like to read the madness. :3

#  #  #

1) A letter to the first fictional character I ever really loved. Aren Cordelaine, of the completely awesome and obscure Sierra game "Betrayal in Antara." I started being a geek at age 5 and NEVER  LOOKED  BACK. :3

2, 3, 4 and 5)  I  don't know. Just my brain being weird.

6)  I put myself into a meditative trance and this is what came out. I  was more than a little shocked. Either God talked to me or whoever talked to me, I  wish is God. <3

There's something about unconditional love that frees you up to be the person you were always meant to be.Collapse )

Title:  "Clear"
Universe:  Static Shock
Length: 3032 words
Rating:  PG-13 for swearing, violence, character peril.
Summary: An attack at a hospital leaves Virgil with one of the most awful choices he's ever had to make.
Notes:  Implied Virgil/Richie, zero explicitness.

And now he saw the bigger picture, and he wanted to scream that he just didn’t care about the greater good or being a hero anymore, or anything else besides just getting through this nightmare with both of them alive…Collapse )

Universe:  Titan AE
Geronimo. (Inspired by the song of the same title by Phantom Planet.)
Summary: 5 up-fucked Korso/Preed drabbles which may or may not be crack. Involves extreme sexual violence, Akrennian biology, messing with Stith's head, and McDonalds.
Length: From around 300 to 1000 words each.
Rating: PG-13 for sexual situations and swearing. Nothing explicit though.
Note: Yes, I'm a rather sick fuck, but at least I write it well. x3 And I would LOVE if you'd read.

You don't want to make me blush, you want me UNCONSCIOUS.Collapse )

Title: Fee-vah
Pairing: Marco/Ax
Length: Under 500 words
Warnings: Innuendo, and gratuitous SNL references.

Preed is Dangerous

Stith and Gune are BFFs. Totally.

So in Titan AE, the kickass Stith totally had a soft spot for Gune, and it was absolutely adorable. And this drabble is called "Lullaby," because I can't think of a better title for this bit of ludicrously sweet Stith and Gune interaction. (I have no adorable Stith or Gune icons, so Preed being evil will have to do. :< )
Title: Lullaby
Word count: 972
Rating: G. I don't even think there's any swearing.
Summary: There aren't many things that can rattle Stith. Seeing Gune hurt is one of them.
Notes: This takes place right after Korso gave them that thing that was really a bomb and tried to kill them, Gune figured it out and got caught in the explosion. I figure this is what happened between that and when we see them being all BIG DAMN HEROES again

Your song, it is... PRETTY, Stith! I did not know you liked pretty!Collapse )
